Oil Often is a British graphic design partnership based in south London.

The Company specialises in publicity for the arts, book design, exhibition display and filmmaking. The two principals are Duncan Youel and Philippa Baile, former members of the Clerkenwell design collective M2. Together, they bring over thirty years' graphic design experience to their projects. At M2, they worked for a diverse range of clients: The Thiepval Project, on the Thiepval Visitor Centre, Somme; VTOL Dance Company; the publishers Dorling Kindersley; the Urbis Museum of the City, Manchester; the BBC; Marks and Spencer; and the British Library, and now continue their award-winning work with both long-established and new partners.

Recently, the Company has completed projects for, amongst others: Elephant Books, University of the Arts London, Grand Union Youth Orchestra, and Heinemann in Oxford, as well as long-term book commissions for Heritage Editorial in Cambridge, San Francisco-based publisher Weldon Owen, and Mitchell Beazley. Display shows have included the Stanley Kubrick Season at the Barbican Centre, the Excitement of Time at the Royal Society, Gladstone Potteries Museum, and the permanent exhibition the Changing Face of Walsall, with museum design consultant Tyra Till. We make compelling and engaging work which endures, whatever the medium, so if you would like to meet and discuss your next design project, call us on 020 8239 9955 or mail us at info@oiloften.co.uk
