After our successful re-branding of Vintage Doctor Who, the BBC asked us for more of the same for the many classic comedy series in their unique back catalogue. All of them are British institutions and very dear to many. It was terrific to be given the chance to work on them. We went back to videos of the shows and researched credits typography and colour—to try and work into the new sleeves some of the surface magic of the originals.We also treated each cover image to bring up in the mix the stars of each show. After sixteen years, most of these sleeves are still in production, and as with Doctor Who, it speaks volumes about the enduring nature of what we do.
