The recent community galleries display at Shugborough Hall’s Servants’ Quarters was another of our joint projects with the Heritage Design specialist Tyra Till. Staffordshire County Council and the National Trust collaborate to maintain this unique Working Estate, and Tyra’s brief was to involve the local community in displaying and interpreting the museum's collection of toy, costume, health and industrial artefacts of the area. The 'plain and fancy' theme engages visitors to think about class and wealth in an historical context.
